Seamstress

Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced seamstress to join our team and contribute to our exciting new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

– Operate sewing machines and perform garment construction, alterations, and repairs with precision.

– Work with various fabrics and materials to create high-quality finished products.

– Collaborate closely with designers and project managers to meet specific project requirements and deadlines.

– Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.

– Assist in the training of new team members when necessary.

– Support the administrative team with tasks such as inventory management, order processing, and customer service when not actively sewing.

– Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance workflow and product quality.

-Cleaning and maintaining the sewing machine so it remains in good working condition.

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a seamstress, preferably with a portfolio showcasing your work.

– Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and other relevant equipment.

– Strong understanding of different fabrics and sewing techniques.

– Excellent attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship.

– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

– Flexibility to assist with administrative tasks and adapt to various roles within the team.
